Scope of Services & Highlight
We provide a 24 hour telephone hotline service. The Suicide Crisis Intervention Centre offers assessment of suicidal risks, immediate intervention, counselling and referral services. The Life Education Centre promotes suicide prevention via community services, seminars, publications to promote the message of suicide prevention. Professional training and Development Centre provide various training programs, the caring skills of the general public can be strengthened and practiced in their daily lives.

The 24-Hour Emotional Support Hotline is developed from the Life Hotline. The service is provided to those who are hopeless, distressed or having suicide intention. Our volunteers are willing to listen, care, and walk with the help-seekers to face their problems and finally regain their hope for the future and the confidence in facing the challenges ahead. 24-hours Hotline: 2389 2222

We established the first Relatives and Friends of the Suicidal People Self-help Group in Hong Kong in September 2004, hoping to help the group members get out of the predicament by gathering them together to gain mutual support, live a new live and ultimately achieve the goal of “helping others to help themselves”. The Group was later renamed as the Live the Rainbow Group.
