This thematic arts festival is held every year alternating between performing arts and visual arts. It aims to uncover the great talents of budding artists with disabilities and encourage the pursuit of meaningful life through arts activities, as well as providing opportunities for the audience to appreciate the performances and artworks of these talented artists so as to enrich Hong Kong’s cultural landscape.

Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong (ADA) set up an all-rounded arts accessibility service centre in 2011. We aim to provide arts accessibility services and consultation to different arts and cultural organizations/ venues so that the local art scene can reach a more diverse audience including elderly, children and persons with disabilities, etc.

Ignition Scheme (2016-2019) provided in-depth training, with tailor-made syllabi geared towards skills development, personal growth ad artist etiquette for students from 4 specials schools. Based on the past experience of the Ignition Scheme (2016-2019), we extended the scheme – Ignition Scheme 2.0 for students to have more nurturing opportunities and pave way for a career in the arts.

Arts treatments are used to delay recession and to improve elderly’s cognitive, mental and physical health. Arts activities include: percussion, photography, story-telling, touch arts, audio description, cultural tours, home delivery arts etc. The project aims at improving the quality of life and sociability of elderly with disabilities, mild cognitive impairment and live-alone elders.

This project is sponsored by the Soical Welfare Department, and sustain as a 3 years long-term project. To enhance the personal development of and communication between Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and their parents / carers, provide a holistic leeway for stress relief and foster positive social interaction for inclusion. Through art , we would like to build a causal, non-judgmental creating platform, provide a chance for participants to feel art and live unrestrained.
